Description
Ex GWR 8750 Pannier Tank Locomotive.
This locomotive has been built to a very high standard from a Zero
Zephyrs Kit, manufactured by ABS Models. The body is a mixture of
White Metal castings and Etched Brass components. The model
is painted in BR unlined black livery with the early British Railways
emblem and it is numbered 8766.
The chassis is compensated by balance beams on the two
front axles, the rear axle being fitted with the motor/gearbox
unit. Electrical pick-up is by plunger type units on all
wheels.
The cab roof is removable enabling crew and further
details to be added if required. The locomotive has been test run
only but performs well, no doubt it would benefit from running in.
The model is supplied in its original box complete with
assembly instructions.
